ZoneRun Treadmill ("ZoneRun", "the app") is a heart-rate-zone trainer for Bluetooth treadmills. This policy explains what data the app uses and where it goes.
Data we collect
We, the developer, do not collect any data. The app does not send any information to us or to any third party, and it makes no network requests.
Data stored on your device
- Your settings, workouts, heart rate zones, calibration results and run history.
- The identifiers of the treadmill and heart rate monitor you last connected, so the app can reconnect.
- GPX route files you import, used only to set the treadmill incline.
This data stays on your device. Deleting the app deletes it.
Apple Health
With your permission, ZoneRun saves each finished run to Apple Health as an indoor running workout, including heart rate, distance, running speed, active energy and elevation climbed. ZoneRun reads workouts only so it can save runs correctly. Health data is never used for advertising, never shared with third parties and never leaves your device through the app. You can change or revoke access at any time in the Health app or in Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices.
Bluetooth
ZoneRun uses Bluetooth only to connect to your treadmill (to read and set speed and incline) and to your heart rate monitor (to read your heart rate).
Location
ZoneRun does not request or use your location. Imported GPX routes are shown on a map for guidance and set the treadmill incline; no route or GPS data is saved to Apple Health.
Children
ZoneRun is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
